Grey Space: a Poem

black turned lighter,

white turned darker;

nothing is ever as extreme.

life is a grey space

to one barbaric,

to them so selfless;

perception is so grey

blurred by details,

so small they're

only visible in the right light,

the right perspective

live to give and to love,

hold off judgment until

you've walked in their shoes

and you will have mastered

the grey space

Choices:

Calla Tanner is the carrier of a mutation, which the government is trying to eradicate. Unable to start a family due to the government trying to cover her genes, Calla struggles to find meaning to her life and people to share it with. She joins the rebel forces to find a cure for the disease but puts her only friend in danger in the process. Can she save herself and her friend, or does she have choose between a life of love or a life of friendship?
